Job Title: Sales Executive – IT Solutions and Services
Location: Pune, India
Experience Level: 3-5 years
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. A master’s degree (MBA) is preferred. Any certification in sales or marketing tools (e.g., CRM, lead generation) will be an added advantage.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our team and contribute to our business development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, researching market opportunities and assisting in the expansion of our client base. This individual will play an important role in organizing outreach initiatives, attending industry events, scheduling meetings with potential clients, maintaining and enhancing the networking opportunities and relationships. The candidate will work closely with other members of the technology and management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
• Identify potential leads through online research, networking, and other approaches.
• Segment leads based on various parameters such as industry, geography, and company size.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
Outreach & Communication:
• Run targeted, personalized email campaigns to engage potential clients.
• Make outbound phone calls to prospective leads, follow up on inbound leads, and nurture them into opportunities.
• Persuade potential clients for the meetings with the Sales Director or Pre-sales team.
Market Research & Industry Analysis:
• Conduct research on target companies, market trends, and competitors.
• Track relevant industry memberships, associations, and professional bodies.
• Provide insights on market segmentation, trends, and emerging opportunities.
Industry Events & Conferences:
• Book and manage participation in relevant conferences and industry events.
• Arrange meetings and networking opportunities for the Sales Director and Management team
Reporting & Follow-up:
• Track and document all activities in the company’s CRM, ensuring a record of outreach, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Prepare reports on the performance of campaigns, lead generation efforts, and prospecting activities.
• Ensure timely and consistent follow-up with all prospects.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Pre-sales, Tech Lead, and Sales Director to refine sales strategies and messaging.
• Understand the full spectrum of the company’s service offerings to effectively communicate value to potential clients.
Required Skills:
• Previous experience in IT services industry is must
• Experience in successful email marketing and cold calling campaigns. to schedule meetings
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• A persuasive and persistent approach to engaging prospects.
• Ability to conduct research and analysis on companies and select industry domains.
• Experience with CRM tools and sales automation platforms
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines
