About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Answer phones and explain the product and services offered by the company (IndiaMART, TradeIndia &, etc.)
2. Contact existing customers as well as prospective customers and pitch the product Enter new customer information into the system and update existing customer information
3. Work on prospecting, lead generation, lead management, sales pipeline, negotiation, and closing order
4. Ensure billing and recovery for acquired clients will happen on time, and systematic follow-up to ensure 100% payment collection within the due date
5. Suggest solutions based on customers' needs and requirements
6. Work on MIS report - making recordings of all the sales phone calls and sales deals
7. Retain existing clients, upsell & cross-sell new services to the client
8. Identify and escalate priority issues
9. Follow communication procedures, and guidelines and document all call information according to standard operating procedures
10. Make sales calls, continuously updating and maintaining our CRM database
11. Maintain the database of customers on a regular basis
12. Handle customer questions, inquiries, and complaints
13. Ask questions to the customer and understand their specifications
14. Manage process through specific software programs
15. Take and process product orders in a professional manner
16. Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
17. Build productive trust relationships with customers
18. Work on social media marketing, email marketing, MS Word, Excel, Google Analytics, email drafting, e-commerce platforms, google analytics, proofreading and editing, content writing, update posting on media, Google Adwords & SEO
19. Work on negotiating
20. Work on following up with customers
21. Work on meeting sales targets
22. Work on managing customer relationships, ensuring sales growth
23. Work on explaining the products to the customers
