Key Responsibilities:
• Client Identification: Identify potential business clients who can benefit from registering and selling on GeM. Utilize market data, lead generation tools, and networking to find prospects.
• Outreach and Engagement: Conduct outreach programs, seminars, and workshops to educate potential clients on the benefits and processes of GeM. Engage prospects through direct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the unique needs and regulations of GeM, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Client Onboarding: Assist clients with the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition onto the GeM platform. Coordinate with internal teams to provide necessary support and resources.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Act as the primary point of contact and manage ongoing client expectations and needs.
• Market Insights: Stay updated with government policies, GeM updates, and market trends to advise clients accurately and enhance sales approaches.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in sales, particularly with GeM, is highly preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of the GeM platform and government procurement processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Skilled in negotiation and problem-solving.
• Proficient in using CRM software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
