Job description
**Business Development Manager (BDM) - IT Sales**

## **Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven **Business Development Manager (BDM)** to drive IT sales and expand our customer base. The BDM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals in alignment with the company’s goals. This role requires a strong understanding of technology solutions and proven experience in the IT sales domain.
## **Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and generate new leads through networking, cold calling, social media, and industry events.
- Understand client needs and propose appropriate IT solutions (e.g., software development, cloud services, managed IT, SaaS).
- Prepare and deliver compelling business presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation to closing and post-sales relationship management.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, project management) to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and provide regular sales forecasting and reporting.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
## **Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3-7 years of proven experience in IT sales, business development, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of software solutions, IT services, or cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or within a team.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and sales reporting tools.
## **Preferred Skills**:
- Prior experience selling to enterprise clients or in B2B IT sales.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and digital transformation solutions.
- Network of industry contacts and potential clients is a strong plus.
