This is a senior-level position with a high pay grade, and we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in Relationship Management (RMs) and previous experience in the Banking industry.
Job Description:
As the Head of Sales for Investment Banking, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Investment Banking division. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Sales and Marketing Expertise:
- Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Lead a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) and provide guidance on client acquisition and relationship management.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling investment banking services.
2. Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated with the latest trends, regulations, and developments in the Indian Banking Sector.
- Leverage your in-depth knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the industry.
3. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear performance targets and provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure the team's success.
4. Client Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and institutional clients.
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored investment solutions.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Investment Banking, with a strong focus on sales and marketing or otherwise 5 years of Experience in Corporate Finance, or 5 years of experience in Indian Banking System.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Exceptional knowledge of the Indian Banking Sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
