Role: Sales Lead

Location: Delhi/Mumbai

As the Sales Lead at our fast-growing insurtech startup, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. You'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, and collaborating with management to ensure our insurtech solutions are effectively presented to clients. Your expertise in sales, deep understanding of insurance products, and strong leadership skills will be critical in achieving our ambitious business goals.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Identify target markets, customer segments, and potential sales opportunities within the insurtech landscape.
• Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets, closely monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Utilize your industry knowledge to position our insurtech offerings effectively, addressing client pain points and demonstrating value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurtech products to existing clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the insurtech space.
• Analyze market insights to identify potential gaps or opportunities in our product offerings, informing product development and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
• Provide valuable input to the product development process based on direct customer interactions and feedback.
• Deliver regular sales performance reports and updates to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.

kills/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 8 - 10 years experience in sales, with a focus on insurtech, insurance, or financial services.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing sales teams to exceed targets.
• In-depth knowledge of the insurtech industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and a passion for driving innovation in the insurtech sector.
