Job Description
You will be responsible for securing the initial set of clients, crafting a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth, and building and leading the sales team.
You will work closely with the Product, Engineering and Marketing teams in providing insights that will help tune the product and position for the right market fit.
The incumbent will define the sales roadmap, identify target companies, and ensure the successful setup of the sales support ecosystem as the team scales.
The role allows the person to define the early-stage growth roadmap, shape the company's market presence and establish a foundation for sustainable expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Define a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the overall growth objectives, identifying target industries and client segments within the logistics domain.
Client Acquisition: Drive client acquisition efforts, leveraging industry networks and outreach to secure the initial set of clients and establish a strong market presence.
Sales Roadmap Definition: Develop a clear and actionable sales roadmap, outlining key milestones, performance indicators, and growth projections to guide the sales team's efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and optimize the product messaging, pricing strategies, and value proposition based on market feedback.
Sales Support Ecosystem: Establish and manage the sales support ecosystem, including customer service, analytics, and other relevant teams, to ensure seamless client experiences and data-driven decision-making.
Performance Analytics: Implement robust sales performance tracking and reporting mechanisms, regularly assessing progress against targets and using data insights to refine strategies.
Team Leadership: Grow the sales team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and alignment with the company's mission.
Key Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in developing and executing sales and go-to-market plans and teams for SaaS businesses, across mid-market/ SME and Enterprise clients
Proficient in the logistics industry, especially last mile logistics - its challenges, trends, and opportunities, and ability to define a unique value proposition for Bhejooo
Strong ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, including market analysis, target identification, and revenue forecasting
Self-starter, who can organize quickly, and take ownership of managing cross-functional projects; Result-driven approach to problem-solving with a track record of delivering high growth
Clear and succinct communication - the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and create compelling narratives for different audiences
Strong analytical skills, and a technology/ engineering mindset to understand technical product details
