Business
• The incumbent is responsible for generating leads and creating new business opportunities for the organization.
• Responsible for new customer acquisition in the region / markets
• Responsible to access the viability of the project from internal capability aspect and from the client aspect in terms of ability to pay back and existing liabilities
• Responsible for RFP, bidding process, proposal submission, technical and commercial assessment, and handover the agreed contract to the BU – BD/Sales team and technical team for the delivery of the project
• Responsible for gathering and understanding new regions/markets and customer base
• Responsible for new logo acquisition
• Responsible for preparing proactive proposals, physical meets with the client to create new business opportunities
• Responsible for gathering market intelligence about the customer and competitors existing in the market
Customer/ Local Partners
• Liaison with Partners which include solution providers and engineers’ consultants
• Liaison with Funding organizations and government and private investors
• Capture market intelligence and insights to identify areas of investment backed by government and private corporations and identify opportunities for TCE to develop a sustainable value chain.
• Responsible for building relationship with local customers and partners
Brand Advocacy
• Builds rapport with customers/key stakeholders/local partners to increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities
• Actively participates in industry forums to garner presence in the market
Qualification:
B.E./ B.Tech. (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil) + (MBA in Marketing / Finance / Relationship Management will be an added advantage)
Experience:
Years of Experience – (10-15) years
Multi sectoral / discipline experience in engineering companies is a must. Must have service industry exposure
Specific Exposure:
Must have exposure to engineering companies.
Must have proven track record of having managed large accounts across years.
Significant exposure and understanding of market dynamics.
Excellent understanding of the domestic and international sectors including the prevailing administrative, legal, and financial environment governing the development of the accounts.
Excellent understanding of emerging technologies, international trends, and new developments in the sector
