Sales Leader | AFC
Job Location - Mumbai / Bangalore
ROLE SUMMARY
• A challenging position for a high performing Sales Leader to help Datamatics meet the customer acquisition and revenue growth targets managing the sales team in a competitive and innovative way
• The candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to stakeholders and leading a team of sales executives.
KEY REPONSIBILITIES
• In-depth knowledge of Datamatics’ AFC & Engineering solutions and value proposition
• Use an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business (Building a 'territory‘) and acquire new customers for Datamatics’ AFC & Engineering Solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of market trends and competitor landscape
• Understand the customer’s buying cycle
• Hunt for new logos / clients – majorly the MHA (Must Have Accounts)
• Achieve and regularly meet sales target
• Contribute to the overall sales growth strategies and plans
• Drive the entire sales cycle from initial prospect engagement to closure (Networking, presentation, negotiation, persistent follow-ups)
• Identify and map business strengths and customer’s diverse needs
• Develop and plan Sales Strategy
• Identify and create stories for Datamatics offerings basis geography
• Strategize and review with LOS heads on a periodic basis (to maintain balance for sales across LOS)
• Focus on Business growth / Revenue / Top & Bottom line
• Stay abreast and maintain good market knowledge and competitor mapping
• Network & establish relationship (Internal stakeholders / Vendors / Partners / OEMs / Consultants / Prospects & clients)
• Devise strategies to create footprints into subsidiaries of the existing clientele's across their global presence
• Allocate and manage of sales opportunities within Team
• Lead and manage the negotiating and closing of deals with customers
• Review Lead Status & Sales Actions on a ongoing basis
• Ensure seamless client onboarding
• Take account of outstanding & collections to ensure all projects and invoiced and closed on time
• Strategize the action plan for self and team to ensure targets are met
• Collaborate with marketing for events strategy
• Conceptualize Campaigns & Successfully implement the same (through team members)
• People Management / Coaching & Mentoring the team (Also, Conflict management intra and inter team to pursue lead identified)
DESIRED COMPETENCIES
• Experience:
• Minimum 18 years of Sales experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Selling – System Integration and Engineering Services, Embedded Systems, IOT Services, Smart Card Solutions, Payment Solutions etc.
• Experience Selling to Public Sector Agencies or Government
• Experience Selling Medium to Large Value Deals
• Understanding of bidding for large scale projects
• Education: Any Graduate / Post Graduate
