JOB DESCRIPTION
• The primary purpose of the role is to drive the Pharma & Life Science Logistics sales effort for the nominated Geographical Region.
• The goal is to efficiently generate growth in revenue, as budgeted, within health-care-related prospects and customers and manage the overall business development.
• Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
• Building business relationships with current and potential clients
• Contribute to revenue growth
• Responsible for the management and handling of the RFQ response documents.
• Formulate business SOP & smooth transition to operations.
• Able to sale all Logistics products such as Air, Ocean, Temp. control shipments, Pharma contract Logistics (Warehouse Bonded / Nonbonded, FTWZ, 3pl), ISO tanks, LLP, Customs clearance, Transportation etc.
• Target customers must be from reputed Life Science, Pharma, Health care brands.
• Maintain all account and new business prospects.
• Should maintain healthy sales pipelines.
• Should achieve minimum 3.5 times of ROI of Individual CTC
• Ensure effective feedback and communication between various internal stakeholders
• Well versed in handles Salesforce CRM tool
• Should advocate company brand image.
• Connect Country management with Stakeholders at Customers side.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding
• Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Logistics team, Being Team Player is must.
• Maintain and manage the financial forecast and cost module projections for new business submission if required.
• Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through value added products.
• Manage and coordinate all commercial activities of defined vertical group of customers with the customer service team, in line with the company's short- and long-term results & targets.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
• Logistics / Transportation, SCM Domain exp a plus
• Proven work experience in Similar Domain
• Familiarity with business and operation's principles and practices
• Basic IT skills & Sales CRM Management tools.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Leadership and organizational skills

Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements
• Prefer at least 5 to 15 years of experience handling hardcore pharma, healthcare and lifescience sales with a freight forwarding company.
• Prefer 5 to 15 years of experience in sales.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
• The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired
