As a Sales Manager, you will drive B2B sales of government projects. One of your main responsibilities would be to identify new opportunities to expand markets in the government sector and drive business growth while also enabling increased revenue from current accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identify Government bidding opportunities for DigiBoxx and Bid Management initiatives.
· End to end RFI/RFP/RFQ response preparation and other sales support like technical presentation, capability and approach document.
· Complete ownership for Expression of Interest/RFI/ RFQ/RFP/Tender preparation and bid submission
· Identify key success factors and implement strategic guidelines for bidding.
· Conduct comprehensive analysis and finalize Bid or No-Bid decisions based on qualifying factors.
· Plan, schedule, monitor, and evaluate bid preparation activities to ensure quality and timely submission of bids/ tenders.
· Work closely with technical, product, business development and legal team to document the agreed solution by mapping the solution with requirements.
· Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from all the stakeholders involving contributions from sales, marketing, commercial, legal, delivery, and product teams.
· Prepare Bid Plan and checklist as per the RFP submission timelines and requirements.
· Manage the overall quality of the content and professional preventability of the bid documents.
· Interact directly with Customers for Bid queries and timelines till the Bid submission.
· Maintain record & reference content of the entire bid response in soft/ hard copies.
· Manage the bid budget and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues.
· Create a standard template for less complex bids.
· Open to extensive traveling - PAN India.
Your skills and Experience:
· Graduate or Post graduate with 5+ years of experience in sales and hands-on with bid management processes.
· Prior experience in end-to-end bidding transactions
· Strong knowledge and understanding of sources of identifying bid opportunities.
· Excellent communication skills with proven problem-solving and writing skills.
· A strong team player with ability to make an apt presentation for the bids.
