Key Accountabilities
• Responsible for commercials (Volume, Value & CM) of Industrial market segments in Indian sub-continent (ISC) for Coatings, Oilfield, Gas treatment, Water Treatment, Paper, Metal working fluids, Textile & other industrial chemicals.
• Product range includes Ethylene amines, Polyether amines, Diglycol amines, etc.
• Implement long term business plan and strategy in co-ordination with Country Manager ISC and APAC market Manager.
• Identify & grow business via Key accounts distribution channel management and customer intimacy.
• To drive business in Indian Sub-Continent. Formulate local strategies to achieve the targeted long-term plans.
• Devise sales strategy/plan and commercial execution in assigned territories/market segments.
• Execute the pricing strategy, participate actively in pricing and contract negotiations with key customers.
• Participation in tender process as and when required.
• Establish and maintain a customer database that enables the business to access key information.
• Regular updates on market intelligence and timely Reports as required by organization.
• Provide reliable 24-months rolling forecast on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with Regional Market Managers to identify long term growth opportunities and develop sustainable five year plan and execute it successfully.
• Develop gap filling plans and fulfill the gaps arising on monthly basis.
• Effective management of the receivables, DSO and overdues (if any).
• Manage and provide strong leadership to the assigned distributors, guide them in achieving annual sales targets and ensure timely submission of reports from them on timely basis (monthly, quarterly, etc.)
• Adhere to Business Compliance requirement and Huntsman EH&S codes.
Key Requirements
Education: The job holder should possess a basic degree in Chemistry or a degree from UICT/Others in Chemical Technology.
MBA preferred – marketing
Good Communication Skills, Excellent Power point presentation and MS Excel Skills
Willingness to take responsibility for new applications segments.
Experience
• The individual should have 08-10 years commercial or business experience in the relevant market segments.
• Should have handled large key multinational accounts.
• At least 7+ years of sales experience in Ethylene
Amines, Polyether amines, etc.
• Desirable to have 3-5 years’ experience in selling raw materials to Epoxy/UPR/Resin/Polyurethane industry.
• Proven Track record of new business development.
