Sales Manager - Leicestershire - Up to £45,000 per year + Great Benefits!

We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Agricultural Sales Manager to join our client, a leading company in the agricultural sector. This role is crucial in developing and managing an integrated telesales operation, driving sales growth, and leading a dedicated team to exceed targets. You will play a key role in aligning the telesales strategy with regional business objectives and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Role:
• Develop and manage an integrated telesales operation that closely collaborates with the field sales team to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
• Drive sales growth and exceed budget targets for telesales product categories (e.g., palletized products, straights).
• Lead and manage a team of office-based account managers, ensuring alignment with regional business strategies.
• Implement effective sales campaigns, manage daily operations, and ensure the team meets performance targets.
• Collaborate with technical/product managers to incorporate farm diet information into the telesales process.
• Manage and develop the telesales team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Generate leads for field sales teams and identify new business opportunities to capture market share.

Skills/Experience:
• Proven success in a telesales environment with at least 10 years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role (Essential)
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and knowledge of financial processes
• Experience in managing sales operations and implementing effective sales strategies
