Position : Senior Sales Manager / General Manager Sales
1. BUSINESS STRATEGY & PROFITABILITY (Level of Responsibility and Time & Effort spent - 25%)
· Communicate and lead the vision, mission and goals of Foodlink.
· Contribute to the business plan and strategy formulation to achieve the targeted growth.
· Understand the market economic environment and competitors and successfully sell against them.
· Processes and achieves revenue goals with a priority area in catering by actively selling and up-selling each business opportunity.
2. OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT (Level of Responsibility and Time & Effort spent - 45%)
· Manage the end-to-end Sales operation.
· Conducts daily sales calls to client database and Event planner.
· Develop, review and implement the menus as necessary.
· Innovate & plan for new menus & attractive food images.
· Respond to any changes in menus and service trends as dictated by the Clients.
· Follow up all business leads within specific time period to clients.
· Participates in all sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business.
· Maintains positive relationships with existing and new clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.
· Co-ordinate with Client for Menu update, Operational recce, Infrastructural requirement, Estimate, Contract, and Payment schedules.
· Confirm final billing accuracy prior to and then process the final bill.
· Closes sales by collecting final amount as per guest signed feedback day of the event.
· Networks with event planners to encourage bookings.
· Co-ordinate with event coordinator to ensure event goes as per guest preference and company standards.
· Oversee all preparations for food quality, presentation as per client guideline.
· Ensure the set up are followed and executed according to the set standard.
· Coordinate with client vendors for their requirement to share the necessity departments.
· Support other members of the Sales Team, stepping in to assist in duties as appropriate.
· Conduct food tastings and evaluate food presentation.
· Responsible for evaluate presentation of all counter which promised to the client.
· Coordinate with event manager for layout of venue and smooth running of the kitchen by adequate supply of electricity, water and infrastructural requirements.
· Coordinate all department for accurate forecast of event.
· Work with the all teams and action improvement plans as necessary.
· Contribute to marketing presence on Social Media, such as Facebook and Instagram.
· Participate actively in recycling and energy saving initiatives.
· Co-ordinate with account department for Invoice and payment.
· Competition analysis and tracking to maintain brand position
· Manage vendor relationships.
· Addresses and resolves any issues or complaints during the event.
· Support to other department like Warehouse, Travel desk, Operation, Culinary, Accounts, Vendor management and Marketing for solving their queries.
· Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
· Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.
· Coordinate and participate in events, promotional activities, launches and activations.
3. GUEST SATISFACTION AND CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (Level of Responsibility and Time & Effort spent - 20%)
· Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate menus and implements operational changes as necessary.
· Anticipate and address guest issues and establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction
· Maintain high visibility in the guest area, make personal contact with guests and assists them with any request or suggestions
· Maintain high visibility in the surrounding community and in the hospitality community to create brand awareness and value
· Support creation and implementation of best practices to ensure improvement in efficiency, productivity and profitability.
