POSITION SUMMARY
• The incumbent will be responsible for handling Sales in the region allocated to him. He will have to achieve the estimate allocated to him by dividing it to various dealers in his region. He has to undertake sales planning, relationship building, BTL promotion activities, product knowledge transfer, statutory compliances and various other operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Building B2B and B2B2C sales channels by appointing dealers in the markets responsible, building connections with Interior Designers and Architects, Purchase managers of Star Hotels, Owners of Cafes and Restaurants, and corporate offices and Premium Home Decor stores.
• To achieve 100% of Turnover targets estimate in region.
• Followup with dealers to make sure they stock the fast sellers all the time in their store.
• To identify new Dealers, negotiate payment terms and Display arrangement in the respective Dealer.
• To relocate/close Dealers as per Plan.
• To ensure excellent customer service.
• Strictly follow up new Dealers’ performance & forecast.
• Inform Head Office on Shop Managers’ reaction to new articles as they are introduced.
KEY DELIVERABLES
• To prepare the seasonal estimates of all Dealers in advance. Prepare monthly and quarterly sales plan to build a basis on sales growth.
• To create Schemes, offers and sales plans to lure dealers to increase the sale value bill to bill from the dealers end.
• To find out new locations and negotiate for our expansion in order to increase business and market share.
• To constantly analyze & inform Head Office about market trends & general economic trends in respective areas & how these trends might affect our business.
• In exceptional cases to co-ordinate with Head Office to prepare specific product line for specific store to adopt to the market properly.
PROMOTION AND DISPLAY
• To plan, implement and execute store level promotions whenever and wherever required to help increase the brand visibility and sales.
• To ensure the display of NEW ARRIVALS are in the prime area in every store.
DAILY WORKING PROGRAMME
• Meet dealers and take notes, make reports & take corrective actions when required.
• To visit and observe competitors’ activities.
• To check on aged stock with the dealers.
• To ensure that all displays are first-class and nicely arranged.
MONTHLY WORKING PROGRAMME
• To discuss with Store Managers, the sale results, articles, supply and giving them advice on how to improve business.
• To followup with regards statements, mistakes and attend generally to correspondence.
• To submit business report along with other relevant documents.
• To submit region wise reports regularly. To analyze profitability & take appropriate action.
