Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing strategic partnerships with fintech's, banks, and other consumer-facing companies. Your responsibilities will include opportunity mapping, lead generation, solution selling, and maintaining a deep understanding of our products to effectively engage senior decision-makers. Additionally, you will identify revenue opportunities, provide solutions to client challenges, collaborate with our product and engineering teams, and contribute to expanding our assets under management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential partners through opportunity mapping and lead generation.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our products and communicate relevant features to potential partners.
• Gather essential information from partner platforms and pitch our product effectively.
• Identify additional revenue and strategic partnership opportunities.
• Address client challenges, understand their domain, and provide seamless solutions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to track enhancement requests and resolve issues.
• Develop a proactive customer contact strategy, including product adoption initiatives.
• Maintain regular communication with partners to enhance the partnership.
• Manage customer expectations and promote our value proposition.
• Provide internal feedback to improve our service to partners.
• Collaborate with the sales team to expand total assets under management.
• Stay updated on industry developments and trends to help the product team adopt new features and products.
• Liaise with product manufacturers in the investment ecosystem to support the launch of new investment products.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales and business development roles.
• CA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles, managing customer requirements, and deploying solutions.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions with customers to understand and address their challenges.
• Strong organizational and independent work skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Banking or wealth management experience is a significant advantage.
• Based in Mumbai.
