We are seeking a dynamic and motivated B2B Sales Manager to join our team, focusing
on sales to school, colleges, and educational institutions. As a B2B Sales Manager, you
will be responsible for promoting and selling our products/services to educational
institutions, fostering strong relationships, and providing excellent customer service.
This role involves traveling to various schools, colleges, and educational facilities to
understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
Market Research and Prospecting:
Conduct market research to identify potential educational institutions as target
clients.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the education sector, trends, and
competitors.
Identify key decision-makers within schools, colleges, and educational
institutions.
Sales and Relationship Building:
Travel to educational institutions to present our products/services and. conduct
demonstrations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, teachers, and
other stakeholders.
Understand the unique requirements of each institution and propose customized
solutions.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Collaborate with the sales head and management to develop pricing strategies
and promotional activities.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Customer Service and Support:
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and
concerns promptly.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proper installation, training, and
support for clients.
Maintain regular communication with clients to assess their satisfaction and
identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, detailing sales activities, achievements, and
challenges.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provide feedback to the management team regarding market demands and
product/service enhancements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the education sector.
Strong understanding of educational technologies and solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.
