Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated, professional, guest service oriented individual to join the Sales & Marketing team as a Corporate Management Trainee (CMT).

Jump start your career at Hyatt with an exclusive 6-month management trainee program in our Sales & Marketing Team at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. This 6-month program will include a rotational schedule across all divisions of the Hotel with a specialization in the Sales & Marketing Department. You will not be shadowing, you will be actively participating and making an impact at our Hotel. You will be working with world-class talent and this role will be your spring board to your career with Hyatt. This role is anticipated to start early August 2025.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is not only looking to contribute meaningfully in a support capacity but also aspires to grow into a Sales & Marketing Manager role in the future. We’re looking for candidates with a long-term vision who are eager to learn, take initiative, and build their careers with Hyatt.

Salary: $5+,000 per year

Qualifications

Two-year diploma, with an above grade

+ months of relevant work experience

Excellent organizational and communication skills (both spoken and written) a must

Friendly attitude and team oriented

Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and a driven entrepreneurial spirit

Willingness to assist and ability to solve problems

Proficiency in computer office systems and computer skills e.g. Microsoft Office is required

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines

Must be available Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 5pm, and the flexibility to work weekends if needed

Interest in professional growth and a desire to progress toward a Sales & Marketing Manager role

Preferred Additional Skills

Experience with content marketing via social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

Familiarity with engagement strategies to grow brand awareness

Knowledge of photography and basic film production for marketing campaigns and guest storytelling

Comfort with digital tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media scheduling platforms is a plus
