We are seeking an experienced mid-level Sales and Marketing Executive who will play a crucial role in driving our organisation’s growth by developing and implementing effective marketing strategies and managing our export operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of domestic and international markets, export regulations and possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
Essentials for a Sales and Marketing Executive:
• The candidate should have a degree in Finance/Marketing/Business Development, or a related field
• The candidate should have proven work experience in marketing and exports, preferably in a similar industry
• The candidate should have extensive knowledge of export regulations, trade compliance, and domestic and international market dynamics
• The candidate should be familiar with trade documentation such as purchase agreements, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export licences
• The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and develop actionable insights
• The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• The candidate should be proficient in using marketing software and tools, including CRM systems, market research platforms, and data analytics tools
• The candidate should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
• The candidate should be willing to travel domestically as and when required for field work or client visits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and executing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to promote our products/services in domestic and international markets
• Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate potential customers, market trends, and competitors' activities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth and efficient export operations
• Developing expertise in specific domains relevant to our products and services
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, distributors, and partners to expand our export reach to both domestic and international markets
• Identifying and evaluating new market opportunities, including potential export markets, and developing market entry strategies accordingly
• Ensuring compliance with domestic and international trade regulations, export controls, and documentation requirements to facilitate smooth export operations
• Coordinating with shipping and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of export orders while monitoring shipment tracking and resolving any issues
• Managing and negotiating contracts with domestic and international distributors, agents, and suppliers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements
• Analysing sales data and market trends to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and export initiatives and making recommendations for improvement
• Staying updated on industry trends, export regulations, and emerging markets to identify potential risks and opportunities for the marketing and export business
