Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Intern to join our team. As a Sales Intern, you will work closely with our sales professionals to support various sales activities, learn about our products and services, and assist in generating leads and closing deals. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to the sales process within the IT industry, allowing you to develop essential skills and kick-start your career in sales.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients and generate leads through research, networking, and cold calling.
· Assist in creation of Sales and Marketing collaterals, and support broadcast of Social Media Advertising and Email Broadcasts.
· Assist in conducting product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our solutions.
· Follow up with leads and prospects, nurture relationships, and provide timely and accurate information to address their queries and concerns.
· Support the sales team in preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts for potential clients.
· Help maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system to track sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
· Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities to enhance your sales skills and industry knowledge.
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and new product developments to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
· Assist in analysing sales data, market research, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Qualifications
· Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
· Strong interest in pursuing a career in sales, particularly within the IT industry.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients.
· Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and deliver results.
· Proactive and resourceful in researching potential clients and identifying new business opportunities.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Some Exposure to Social Media Marketing, Content Creation and Copywriting,
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Duration:
This is a full-time internship position for a duration of 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
