As a Sales Merchandiser we require your primary responsibility is to ensure that the brand's products are displayed and sold effectively in retail stores. Here are some key tasks that you might be expected to perform:
• Develop merchandising strategies: As a Sales Merchandiser, you will need to develop merchandising strategies that align with the brand's overall business objectives. This will include working closely with the brand's sales and marketing teams to ensure that the brand's products are displayed effectively and in a way that appeals to the target customer.
• Conduct market research: You will need to conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences in order to inform your merchandising strategies. This will include analyzing sales data, monitoring competitor activity, and gathering feedback from customers, online and retail partners.
• Plan and execute product launches: You will be responsible for planning and executing product launches, which includes coordinating with the brand's design and production teams to ensure that products are delivered to online and retail stores on time and in the right quantities. You will also need to work with online & retail partners to plan in-store promotions and events to support the launch.
• Build relationships with online and retail partners: As a Sales Merchandiser, you will need to build strong relationships with retail partners to ensure that the brand's products are displayed and promoted effectively in stores. This will include working with online and retail managers to ensure that products are displayed prominently and that promotional materials are used effectively.
• Analyze sales data: You will need to regularly analyze sales data to measure the effectiveness of your merchandising strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. This will include monitoring sell-through rates, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
