Job Summary:
The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving the sales of our furniture products by identifying potential customers, developing relationships, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of the furniture market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share.
Identify new sales opportunities through various channels such as networking, industry events, and referrals.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and offer solutions that cater to their requirements.
Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's furniture products and services.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and market developments.
Educate customers on product features and benefits.
Sales Presentations:
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations.
Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals effectively.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to counteract competition.
Provide feedback to the product development team based on market insights.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
Monitor and report on sales performance and market conditions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus commission.
