JOB DESCRIPTION

RTITB India is currently looking for a dedicated, diligent, efficient and a hands-on 'Sales & Operations Manager' to support their upcoming launch and future operations in India.

Primarily, the nature of tasks and obligations performed by the candidate would be generating sales, providing operational and technical support to the clients and managing a small but growing team of instructors and administrators.

RTITB was set up in 1965 as a statutory body (Road Transport Industry Training Board) by the government of the UK and has since then evolved into an independent and commercial organization providing world-class workplace transport training services.

RTITB is widely regarded as the number one source of expertise when it comes to training in the workplace transport sector, whether it is material handling equipment or Heavy goods vehicles. RTITB has always been at the forefront of innovation and research in ensuring highly effective training standards, training tools and certification services are made available to their customers across the world.

RTITB India Private Limited has been established as part of RTITB’s India outreach program under which world class training and internationally recognized certifications will be available directly through RTITB’s India arm.

As a collaboration with RTITB UK, RTITB India will bring world-class standards to India, revolutionizing the training landscape. With the aim to equip operators with the skills and knowledge for efficient operations, a new era of training excellence will be ushered.

Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
• Deal with general enquiries from clients, partner organisations received by telephone, email and face to face;
• Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients, including leads pipeline maintenance;
• Conversion of prospective clients into successful leads for the organization using their interpersonal and sales skills;
• Manage a team of administrators and instructors, including their mentorship, development and growth;
• Allocation of resources (instructors) to various trainings in order to ensure maximum utilization;
• Manage and oversee accounts- creditors, debtors and expenses with the help of the admin team;
• Manage the various government compliances to ensure adherence to local laws and norms with the assistance of chartered accountants;
• Maintain good administrative practices including maintaining and developing procedures, records and systems;
• Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required.

• Communication: Good communication (spoken and written) skills, including ability to draft a variety of correspondence and other communications, summary reports, etc.
• Teamwork: Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
• Practical & Grounded: Willingness to work in a start-up environment and supporting growth of the organisation with determination and sincere efforts.
• Integrity & Honesty: Upholding the virtues of Honesty & Integrity above and beyond anything else.

Qualifications
• Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a UGC recognized university.
• Work Experience: Preferably 5-7 years of relevant work experience. This requirement can be re-considered in case of an exceptional candidate.
• Languages: Fluency in oral and written English
• Other Skills - Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and generally competent in using the new-age IT systems and applications
