Job Title: Sales Operations Specialist
Location: Panchshil Business Park, Balewadi, Pune, India
Team: OIC Operations, Center for Operations Excellence (COE)
Center for Operations Excellence (COE) is part of Veritas Global Shared Services (GSS) unit which provides various Sales support services to Global, AMS, EMEA and APJ geographies.
Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Sales Operations Specialist will be to manage OIC Operations function as SME, maintain Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC) Territory Manager, and improve Data Quality of customer data. The individual will work closely with multiple teams including Sales, Sales Operations, and Go-To-Market (GTM) implementation support teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop & manage a team dedicated to supporting the sales team on territory assignments (both OIC and bookings) globally
• Proactively design and implement processes to support global sales territory management and compensation plans, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvements
• Identify sales enablement requirements and work on enablement plans
• Provide feedback and coaching to the team to improve individual performance and team results
• Ensure highest levels of data quality and adherence to data standards and standard process
• Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel
• Be the owner for the Sales Territory assignments process to manage end to end activities for Sales Credit Allocation
• Manage bookings data validation and sales rep territory assignment to ensure deals are accurately assigned for sales rep's commissions calculation each month
• Improve operations activities by simplifying, standardizing, and automating tasks
• Ensure correct rep and territories are assigned to opportunities and bookings
• Address data quality gaps and maintain sales data hygiene
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with diverse business and technical stakeholders
• Facilitate change management by executing communications plans, conduct user training, and creating training documentation, provide ongoing user support, implement reports and dashboards, etc.
Key Skills:
• 6 - 8 years of experience in CRM and/or Sales Compensation process
• Relevant work experience with bookings data validation and sales compensation will be a plus
• Effective communication skills and experience of working cross-culturally
• Understanding of how to use data to drive decision making
• Effective organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Hands-on experience in Advanced Excel (Macros)
• Self-starter and a proactive can-do innovative attitude, result-oriented
• Flexible and adaptable to an evolving and dynamic business environment
• Knowledge of Sales Cycle and its basic requirements
• Good understanding of Sales Territories, Account Hierarchy & Customer Data
• Lean Six Sigma White Belt / Green Belt / Black Belt will be preferred
• Candidate should be flexible to working in shifts (including night/rotational shifts)
