Sales Executive – Paints & Coatings
Job Description:
We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Executive with excellent interpersonal skills to
actively seek out and engage customer prospects.
The primary responsibilities of our Bi Paint Sales Associate positions are to maintain
outstanding customer service, uphold our Mission and Core Values, help create the best paint
department experience possible, generate sales, merchandise product, and support the store
management team. Bi Paint Sales Associates are tasked with additional and specialized duties
that include giving color and paint product selection advice, receiving product, overseeing the
paint department, and otherwise extending our customerfirst philosophy to be the most
helpful paint stores possible.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
∙Deriving Sales from distributor, direct dealer and sub-dealers basis budgeted annual
targets and plan
∙New product launch - pitching to distributor/direct dealer and sub-dealer.
∙Engaging with influencers like plumbing contractors and architects.
∙Selling to builders, govt sector, house owners and other projects as it is a significant
section of the market
∙Market analysis and competitor study for identifying new sub dealers/direct dealers
and distributors. Guide dealer through first phase through initiatives like in-shop
selling, expansion/customization of product range and the right display at counters,
etc.
∙Monitoring and Analysing new dealer performance to assess which among new
dealers/ sub-dealers can be elevated to regular scheme dealers.
∙Organizing meets - plumber meets, sub-dealer meets, direct dealer meets and
distributor meets.
∙Assist sub-dealer/direct dealer and distributor in complaint resolution either directly
or through technician. Customer Complaints are resolved through coordination with
customer care team and technical team
∙Maintenance of data on stock availability at distributors to cater to stock shortage of
sub-dealers. Monitoring and replenishment of stocks in coordination with Supply
Chain Team (for distributors and direct dealers) and distributors (for sub-dealers).
∙Follow-up on billing and fulfillment of orders in the system
∙Evaluating the branding potential at identified counters and subsequently providing of
display board and panels to maximize visibility.
Qualifications:
∙Experience: Min 2 years paint store experience; Color matching; Sales and marketing
experience with retail programs; Buying experience a plus.
∙Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.
∙Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
∙Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive
business professional relationships
∙Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
∙Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
∙Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
∙Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
∙Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
∙Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
