Description:
Reporting to the Provincial Manager, On-Premise & Inside Sales, this position will represent our company and help Sleeman Breweries grow its portfolio presence in the trade within the assigned sales territory (Toronto).
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory distribution, volume and gross margin targets
Establish business relationships with licensees; advise/provide recommendations regarding Sleeman products, promotions, and sales opportunities; work with customer to develop account plans and priorities
Hold regular business reviews with customers to discuss product performance and adjust or revise programs or targets as required.
Manage expenses within established budget and implement MUDA reductions
Review sales data and apply knowledge of the territory to identify opportunities and execute sales plans
Coordinate and execute various Key Account and Marketing programs and provide feedback with regard to the design, implementation, and effectiveness of programs.
Maintain up-to-date customer information and sales data/activities in customer relationship management software (CRM)
Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Sleeman products and build relationship with key stakeholders
Remain updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and market insights
Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment
Post-secondary education in a related field
Experience executing sales plans and achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization
Effective communication, both written and verbal; strong presentation skills
Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office (CRM 365, Power BI, Excel, Power Point, TEAMS)
Beverage ******* industry experience is an asset
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Acceptable credit check
Smart Serve training is considered a strong asset and will be required for the successful candidate to complete when they start (if not currently certified).
Working Conditions
This role will require individuals to work a non-traditional work schedule which could include occasional evenings and weekends
Lift requirement up to 50 pounds
Spends minimum 4 days per week in the field
