Where the team fits in
The Sales Specialist for realcommercial.com.au (RCA) is a newly formed and vital role within RCA’s National Sales team, responsible for driving growth of subscriptions and core digital advertising products for our Commercial customers using realcommercial.com.au.
You will be the commercial sales expert working in collaboration with a cross functional team known as a HIVE which consists of members who manage Relationships, Success and Support.
The Realcommercial (RCA) Sales Team sits within our Customer Group. The Customer Group is the driving force behind our flagship sites, realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au. When you join the Customer Group, you join a cross-functional group of folks representing product, tech, sales and marketing, supported by PR, communications, HR, finance, legal – all the people you need to create products our consumers love and customers value.
With realcommercial.com.au being the number one destination for people interested in commercial property in Australia, as you can imagine - the group of legends working behind the scenes are very passionate about what they do.
What the role is all about:
The RCA Sales Specialist will act as the Commercial subject matter expert and will achieve revenue growth and targets by conversion and product uptake of Commercial subscriptions and Advertising solutions:
Partner with the Relationship Manager as well as work independently to identify the right customers to target for subscription upgrades and advertising solutions.
Specialist in being able to parachute in, build rapport effectively, understand customer needs correctly & quickly, and close opportunities efficiently.
Expert in pipeline management - seek out new revenue while also converting identified opportunities from your Hive team or marketing programs.
Work collaboratively with RCA Sales team, the Hive team and other specialist sales teams to ensure customer experience and whole view of customer is considered when doing a deal.
Understand competitive landscape and point of differentiation to sell the right solution.
What we’re looking for
Someone who can build, manage and efficiently convert their own pipeline of opportunities within Salesforce
Someone with a proven track record of business development and sales skills – We are looking for hunters who chase targets
You will know the importance of building relationships fast with internal stakeholders as well as customers
You will be a team player, no role is more important than the other in this role
Knowledge of commercial real estate and marketing methods highly desirable
Advertising and online experience highly desirable
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Previous use of CRM systems
Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (urban dictionary will help on this one!)
