1701 (17th Floor) Lotus Link Square Building, Opposite D.N.Nagar Metro, Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400053.
Job Purpose:
To drive retail sales (rooms) and corporate revenue for the resort by converting inquiries into confirmed business, developing corporate and travel trade relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and achieving monthly and annual revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation:
Achieve assigned monthly and annual revenue targets for rooms and corporate inquiries (Including Banquets).
Drive business from:-
Corporate clients
Inform Travel agents to book from website
MICE / conferences / off sites
Weddings & social events inquiries
Leisure bulk groups
Focus on improving direct and contracted business and reducing OTA (Like Make MyTrip & Booking.com) dependency.
2. Inquiry Handling & Conversion:
Handle all sales inquiries received via WhatsApp, email, phone and our website.
Ensure quick turnaround time (Within 10–15 minutes) for all inquiries.
Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and customized packages.
Follow up diligently until closure.
Maintain inquiry logs and conversion tracking.
5. Team Management (Crucial):
Supervise and guide sales executives and monitor their performance.
Assign daily and monthly targets to the team.
Monitor calls, follow-ups, and conversions.
Train team members on product knowledge, selling skills, and SOPs.
Ability to answer customer's calls when necessary. (may be during or even after shift hours).
6. Pricing, Offers & Market Intelligence:
Recommend promotional packages, seasonal offers, and value-added deals.
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.
Assist management in rate strategy and discount planning.
Ability to upload and change rates as per instructions from seniors.
Recommend marketing strategies, like on Instagram, Google Ads & other online platforms.
7. Reporting:
Prepare and submit:
Daily sales report/ Monthly sales Report/ Annual Sales report.
Sales Executives; Attendance report. (Incl. Paid Leaves, Sick Leaves, Unpaid leaves, Compensatory working hours etc.)
Monthly revenue and performance report
Analyze lost business and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records in excel sheet.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent follow-up and closing ability
Knowledge of resort operations, room inventory, and banquets
Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and PMS/CRM systems
Professional presentation and client-handling skills.
