Sales Trainee (Material Handling)
Position Overview

There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. With the training we provide Sales Associate helps Arnold to keep that standing.
Essential Job Functions:
After completing their initial one-year training program the Associate will be available to enter outside unit sales, outside aftermarket sales or any other positions as they may become available. These positons may be available at any of our Material Handling Branches.
This position is an entry-level position offering the opportunity for the chosen candidate to have the opportunity to work in all departments to provide a well-rounded understanding of how Arnold Machinery, our customers, and our Branches function.
The Sales Trainee will work for one-year as required in our Service, Parts, Rental and Sales Departments. Goals during the one-year training program include:
Understanding of SILVER SERVICE®
Understanding of Arnold Machinery Companys culture and processes.
Become familiar with many aspects of the material-handling business.
Help identify the best career-match between the successful candidate and Arnold Machinery Company.
Non-essential Job Functions:
Data entry and various office duties
Maintain a clean workspace
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Ability to sit for extended periods
Reaches to answer phones
Moves about, occasionally through uneven terrain
Read paperwork, files, and records on the computer
Communicates by phone and in person
Bends body to file various paperwork
Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain
Hears well enough to receive communication by radio, phone and in person
Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist
Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job
Climbs in and out of equipment
Education and Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Related experience could be substitution for school requirements
Current, valid driver license
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
