Salesforce developer II (Software Engineer II)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salesforce developer to join our new Business Application team. You will be a core member central to that team.

Role / Job Objective:

As a Technical Analyst\developer for Salesforce, you will make sure that the right tools and processes are in place to transform the legacy Customer Self Service portal to new state-of-the-art centralized portal in the best possible way. You will take ownership of the technical aspects ensuring the quality of the Salesforce platform. You will provide advice on the objects we need to use and how they are related.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

Configure and maintain Salesforce.com Customer Portal (Case management, Community, Ideas, Knowledge Base, Search) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other applications like Licensing.
In charge for the quality of the technical design that meets the functional requirements and is at the same time consistent with architectural guidelines
Understand the functional and non-functional requirements
Prepare the technical analysis in accordance with the applicable procedures and processes and ensures that this is the case is aligned with the architectural vision and application architecture and that it is sufficiently future proof
Collaborate with business teams globally to gain a deep understanding of business processes and requirements and design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements.
Participate in implementation of projects in alignment with IT’s methodologies and governance model and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture
Establish relationships primarily with Support and R&D groups globally to drive daily management and problem solving around Case management and Customer experience
Analyze, debug, and solve complex technical issues and customer escalations
Provide status updates, and produce high quality deliverables in a timely manner
Communicate and interact effectively with team members, and other departments within Esko
Stay current on software technology, concepts and tools, as well as related and competing products
Qualifications and Technical knowledge:

Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and experience of working on software product will be an advantage
Overall experience of 5+ years in the Information technology profession focused on Salesforce.com design, development, implementation
Competence in advance Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component development
Competence in all areas of Salesforce.com Administration
Experience in implementing Experience Cloud.
Proficiency in Agile and using JIRA with the ability to drive numerous high-quality releases into production fast.
Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
Proficiency in English, both written & spoken
Good analytical skills and self-initiative to learn new technologies
Flexibility and willingness to work in different stacks of technology is desirable. Being technology agnostic is an added plus
