Job Description
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in both declarative and programmatic tools.
Experience with Core Sales Cloud features and functionality like Territory management, Sales motions, Sales funnel, etc, along with hands-on customisation.
Strong expertise in Apex development (Triggers, Classes, Batch Apex, Schedulers, Queuables).
Proficiency in building modern, responsive UIs using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
Deep understanding of Flows, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, and Process Builder for automating business logic.
Experience with Copado for version control, deployment automation, and managing CI/CD pipelines across multiple Salesforce environments.
Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and release management best practices.
Proficient in REST/SOAP API development and integration with external systems and tools.
Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
Experience in data modeling (custom objects, relationships, record types, etc.). Skilled in SOQL and SOSL for data queries and optimization.
Ability to work in large, complex Salesforce orgs with managed packages and integrations.
Proficient in error handling, debugging, and analyzing logs in developer console and debug logs.
Experience with test class writing, achieving high test coverage, and following Salesforce testing best practices.
Working knowledge of platform limits (governor limits, API limits) and performance tuning.
Familiarity with permission sets, profiles, sharing settings, and org-wide defaults.
Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Comfortable with writing technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment notes.
Ability to lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage tasks, work under minimal supervision, and take ownership of end-to-end deliveries.
Certifications like Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, App Builder, or Copado Certified are preferred.
