Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing solutions for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Cloud Pages, AMPscript, and email marketing personalization. You will work closely with the Customer Analytics and Marketing Personalization teams to architect and develop complex, dynamic marketing solutions that drive business outcomes. Your role will involve using front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, along with deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools like Contact Builder and Journey Builder.Key Responsibilities:Develop software solutions by studying user needs, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle.Build and maintain Cloud Pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support customer-facing marketing pages.AMPscript development for dynamic email content and customer segmentation, enhancing personalized email campaigns.Collaborate with the Customer Analytics and Marketing Personalization teams to design and implement marketing campaigns, emails, and Cloud Pages to improve customer engagement.Design innovative software solutions to improve and simplify e-commerce platforms and internal services across multiple products and brands.Document solutions effectively through technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and detailed code comments.Perform intensive testing of new and existing programs to ensure they function correctly and meet business needs.Participate in Agile delivery activities, including design, estimating, retrospectives, and continuous improvement cycles.Use Contact Builder and data relationships to structure and organize customer data for optimal marketing performance.Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the testing and deployment phases to ensure smooth and error-free functionality.Required Skills & Qualifications:8-10 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development, with a strong understanding of marketing automation and personalization.Proficiency in AMPscript to develop dynamic, personalized email content and workflows.Strong front-end development skills with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building marketing Cloud Pages.Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools like Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain dynamic, data-driven emails and Cloud Pages.Experience with data management using Salesforce Contact Builder and understanding data relationships for marketing purposes.Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues and ensure all solutions are free of errors and function as intended.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participating in Agile development cycles.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.Ability to document solutions clearly and provide detailed explanations of workflows, code, and design processes.Preferred Skills:Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification (e.g., Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist).Experience with Salesforce API integrations and data integrations with external systems.Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud or Salesforce Sales Cloud.Previous experience with e-commerce platforms and creating personalized customer journeys.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
