Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by 'horizontals' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.

About the Team
Client Connectivity: Client Connectivity Technology is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Corporate Bank's online and channel products, messaging, conversion, and integration solutions. It is also driving a vision of frictionless on-boarding, product enablement, digital identity, and user management as well as the CB digital client services and API agenda. The Client Connectivity teams are all about enabling clients and internal processes to be connected in a standardized and efficient manner for the future.
Your Role
What You'll Do
The Corporate Bank is undergoing a strategic investment to re-envision and transform the client service experience from the ground up. We will use the Salesforce platform to create a modern self-service capability, integrated with our back-end processing platforms, to shorten the resolution time for issues and speed up transaction processing. The program of work has ambitious targets for revenue growth and generation and is part of some very high profile deliveries for the Corporate Bank.
You will work as the Technical Architect and Developer of this critical program, shaping the solution and ensuring proper utilisation of native Salesforce technologies, Deutsche Bank standards, and transaction processing capabilities. Your role will include specification, architectural design, and development, as well as the testing and rollout of new features. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience, and build an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a strong, proficient understanding of software development concepts. A good understanding of Cloud concepts is also required. You will also be responsible for developing easy to support software and liaise with our SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) team to factor in their requirements.
We are looking for a Technical Architect and Developer who can translate desired business outcomes and flows into technical integration design and development items that will contribute important components of our strategic platform, Digital Service Manager. This will further contribute to the Corporate Bank portal strategy. Working with the development teams and domain architects, you will be fundamental in the design process and will provide the technical implementation of the resulting flows and functions.
Core Responsibilities
• Lead and own the design and development of new functionality and integration points into existing platforms
• Work with the team on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
• Ensure that a robust, scalable and flexible solution is delivered
• Coding and testing, reviewing team member's changes
• Document business and functional requirements, design decisions and APIs
• Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
• Lead the definition of the future state of the system architecture
• Mentor and direct more junior team members
Skills You'll Need
• Extensive experience of design and development within the Salesforce application environment (Apex Classes / Controllers, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Visual Force, Lightning Components and Salesforce APIs)
• Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, OpenShift
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language and/or web development
• UI development expertise, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery and CSS, and frameworks such as, AngularJS, Struts
• Enterprise Integration Solutions (Apache Camel, Tibco ESB, IBM MQ, Mulesoft or Informatica)
• Web API development – Rest/SOAP Services and processing tools, REST, JSON and REST frameworks
• Experience of working within Agile frameworks is essential as are strong communication skills and teamwork
