About the role
This full-time Salon Receptionist role at Guys Grooming in Perth, WA is an exciting opportunity for a qualified hairdresser to step away from the floor, but still use your knowledge and skills in a dynamic and growing hair and beauty business. As a member of the reception team you will be the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth running of our busy salon.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming all clients with a friendly and professional manner
Managing all incoming calls, email and messages and booking appointments efficiently
Processing payments and handling cash and card transactions
Motivate the team to be and do their best at all times - including striving towards their targets to reach bonuses
Maintaining stock levels of retail products and ensuring the reception area is always tidy and presentable
Retail sales, including offering advice on skin care, hair care and all other grooming needs
Providing administrative support to the salon team as required
Using your knowledge and skills as a hairdresser/colourist to support the team
Assist with marketing and promotional activities to drive client engagement
What we're looking for
Qualified Hairdressing with experience in colour
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly yet professional manner
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Competent in using POS systems and other basic office software
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
Trustworthy and diligent person who gets the job done
Enthusiasm for the hair and beauty industry and a passion for providing outstanding customer service
