Practical Information:
Location: Delhi NCR or Bangalore, India | Team size: 13 | Reports to: Manager - SAM Practice | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for India | Language Requirements: Professional level English, written and verbal | Work Arrangement: Hybrid
As our new SAM Project Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day activities during the SAM engagement with the client's organizations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement reporting and communication tools, lead the data collection process from various sources, including SAM tools, Crayon scripts, and inventory tools like Tanium, SCCM, and Service Now You will also schedule Crayon resources and tasks, identify dependencies on client resources and activities, and ensure the accuracy and QA of Crayon deliverables.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Participate in ongoing technical and licensing discussions with customers and partners on various Tier 1 and other OEMs for both on-premises and cloud environments
• Expertise in helping customers streamline their processes for different OEMs through license, asset, and consulting services
• Expertise in delivering license baseline services, including deployments for various OEMs, analysis of entitlement records, data collection through SAM and IT tools, and preparation of license position reports and remediation plans, as well as assistance with software renewals and ad-hoc licensing queries
• Be able to use software tools deployed at the client organization to understand software inventories
• Analysis of technical platforms, end-user scripts, and measurement results to identify information about purchased and used products
Your Competencies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent
• 7-+ years of relevant SAM consulting and project management experience
• Prior customer-facing experience managing enterprise customers
• Strong knowledge of software licensing and compliance for multiple tier-1 OEMs
