Join our dynamic team as a Sandwich Artist and Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for every guest. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face behind the counter, crafting delicious sandwiches with precision and care while providing exceptional customer service. Your multitasking skills will shine as you manage food preparation, handle transactions efficiently, and ensure a clean, safe, and inviting space for all visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, retail math, and cash handling within a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant setting.
Responsibilities
Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and food safety.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders with enthusiasm, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and managing food prep stations to keep the restaurant running smoothly during busy hours.
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end.
Support team members in food safety practices, proper sanitation procedures, and adhering to all food industry standards.
Experience
Prior experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
Demonstrated ability in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environments is highly desirable.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management are essential.
Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, or kitchen experience will set you apart.
