Mo te tūranga | About the Role:
The Core Tribe is the heart of the bank providing all the cool online / real-time transactional services that power ASB. As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be assisting our SAP squads on a large migration project. Your everyday tasks should be like these:
Work closely with the wider SAP Team to deliver effective and efficient Technical Solutions on SAP Fioneer Transactional Banking (TRBK) platform that meets Business Requirements and ASB & APRA Controls.
Actively support and promote SAP best practice and clean core implementations.
Support Customer Experience Owner (CXO), BA and team to create, refine Epics, Features and User Stories in ADO.
Support and perform audits to inspect that a clean core platform is maintained.
Actively work with the SAP Technical Engineers and build efficiencies within the Development Chapter.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest ABAP development trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process and technical solutions.

We are looking for someone who has:
Strong Experience developing modern SAP applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP).
Ability to model and build OData V2 / V4 services.
Solid foundation in Object-Oriented ABAP.
Confident in working across both contemporary ABAP cloud and traditional ABAP Development.
Nice to have:
Experience in creating new Fiori applications both Fiori Elements and freestyle UI5.
Good understanding of JavaScript and Typescript.
Capable of enhancing and extending existing Fiori/UI5 applications with frameworks like Flexible Programming Model.
