SAP ABAP Programmer
Job Summary:
As a SAP ABAP Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ABAP applications with a focus on SAP Fiori development. Your expertise will contribute to the successful implementation and enhancement of SAP Fiori applications. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in ABAP programming (preferably OOABAP) with 2-4 years of experience, along with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in ODATA developments.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) in accordance with functional specifications and technical guidelines.
· Collaborate with functional consultants and UX/UI designers to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and translate them into SAP Fiori applications (ODATA developments).
· Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for SAP Fiori, including design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment.
· Perform performance tuning and optimization of SAP Fiori applications to improve system performance.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori-related issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including program specifications, test plans, and user manuals for SAP Fiori applications.
· Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies, tools, and best practices, and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
· Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming (OOABAP preferred).
· Strong knowledge of ABAP programming concepts, including ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Objects, and BAPI/RFC integration.
· Familiarity with SAP development tools and technologies, including SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC.
· Hands-on experience developing ODATA projects for FIORI applications.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
