Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP/Ui5 Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Location: Dallas, TX. Work from home - Hybrid

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Architect with experience in S/4 HANA UI5 - ABAP OData and S/4 HANA Data Modeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT Security Finance and Accounting. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of technical and domain skills to drive innovative solutions and ensure the security and efficiency of our systems.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of S/4 HANA solutions to meet business requirements.
• Be responsible for the development and maintenance of UI5 applications using ABAP OData services.
• Guide in S/4 HANA Data Modeling to optimize data structures and improve performance.
• Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing effective processes and following industry standards.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all architectural designs and processes.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Work closely with customers to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance system capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Role Qualifications
• 14+ years of experience including S/4 HANA UI5 - ABAP OData and S/4 HANA Data Modeling.
• Possess extensive experience in S/4 HANA UI5, ABAP OData and S/4 HANA Data Modeling.
• Shown background in IT Security with a deep understanding of security protocols and standard processes.
• Demonstrate expertise in Finance and Accounting domains with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multi-functional teams.
• Show proficiency in system auditing and vulnerability assessment.
• Expert in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• Have a consistent record of driving the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Possess excellent code review and quality assurance skills.
• Show the ability to monitor and improve system performance effectively.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
