SAP ABAP, BW & HANA Developer JD
Description
The resource must design, develop and implement quality SAP solutions that meet/exceed customer requirements. This position requires the ability to work with client project teams throughout the entire project / change request implementation lifecycle (Concept, Design, Develop, Test, & Deploy). The candidate should be eager to understand and investigate new SAP technologies, research new techniques, and think about the big picture when designing solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of SAP development projects and tasks to support enablement of key client-specific business processes.
· Collaborate with implementation project teams and end users to analyze business transformation opportunities and design & implement corresponding solutions.
· Provide design and development expertise across customer engagements for all SAP Consolidation / Planning Finance including reports.
· Support SAP functional and Basis teams in patch and upgrade verification.
· Deliver cross-functional development objects.
· Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.
Actively participate in knowledge transfer by training peers on new solutions & development tools.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Management Information Systems or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of experience with SAP platform. Finance & Accounting knowledge desired along with business intelligence experience.
Experience:
· Demonstrable experience with SAP Object Oriented ABAP
· 3-5 years of Expert level experience in OO ABAP development in BW Environment
· Extensive knowledge and hands-on development experience with SAP workflow & Webdynpro required.
· Experience with BADIs, IDOCS, User/field exits, dynamic programming, parallel processing and reporting including standard and ALV reporting.
· Extensive knowledge on Database queries, SQL, performance tuning and internals of database operation
· Hardcore development and who knows how to do development on HANA (minimum 1-2 years of experience). They should know to how to call HANA APIs from BW and ABAP environment. They should understand how BI on HANA works and how ABAP is written specific to HANA environment.

· Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
· Proven ability to excel in a dynamic environment with concurrent priorities.
