Finance > Group Finance > Digitalization & Processes
The Digitalization and Processes team is an off-shore team functioning under the Digitalization and Processes department within Global Procurement. We are responsible for coordinating source-to-pay processes and providing technical and operational support to key system platforms such as SAP Ariba. We also support different project activities related to digitalization and automation, and engage with the different Category Teams, Regional Procurement Organizations, Global IT, and Group & Regional Finance in promoting global implementation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
People
• Manage direct reports, ensuring both the professional and personal development of the Procurement Master Data team
• Develop processes to celebrate completed project, maintain performance levels, improve engagement and evaluate poor performance
• Review staffing structure including span of control and ability levels
• Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on, in line with both the roll-out plan as well as opportunities for further ways to make buying easier
Business
• Understand the requirements from stakeholders and users and translate them into solutions in the areas of Source to Pay
• Transform complex business requirements into systems solutions, evaluate the impact to cross-functional areas and systems
• Planning, prioritizing, and implementing projects to deliver business value
• Enhance the adoption of Ariba across the organization
• Responsible for supplier enablement and commitment towards paperless Source to Pay process
• Own the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities providing direction to the development team and stakeholders
• Develop the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new capabilities and functionalities
• Document process pain points, assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
• Develop options and work with the team to assess their viability, feasibility and desirability as they relate to the problems they are solving
• Complete value confirmation analysis once product is live (i.e. did we solve the problem and is it providing the value we predicted it would?)
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• Extensive experience in developing and executing standard processes globally across an organisation for Procurement and Supply Chain
• Significant internal and external experience on the Source to Pay process
• Advanced experience in strategy and business case development
• A previous experience with accelerating significant global change and efficiently implementing large scale transformation in Finance or Procurement/Supply Chain with the Ariba toolset
• Experience of achieving results through others in a matrixed environment
• Detailed understanding of buying channels within a multinational corporation
Competencies
• Good knowledge of the Agile software development lifecycle and product management methodologies
• Good understanding of the most recent trends around SAP technologies and their integration with SAP S/4HANA (SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network)
• Enhanced communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies. Proficient at designing presentations, formal writing, verbal and email communication
• Ability to coordinate and operate across highly cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comprehensive organizational thinking and ability to make decisions based on both quantitative data and qualitative insight
