What does a great Specialist, Software Development Engineering do?
Collaborate with Procure To Pay business group of Financial System Team and help organization to solve complex business problems and build sophisticated business solutions in SAP Procure To Pay module using ARIBA application.
Role Description –
This position will primarily be responsible for providing Ariba implementation solutions on the design, configuration, integration, and quality assurance (including unit testing) of Ariba based requirement as well as troubleshoot the issues and provide production support. The candidate should have knowledge / experience in both Ariba Upstream modules and Downstream modules. Should be able to work independently on SAP Ariba CIG integration with at least one S/4 Hana implementation practice. This position requires working knowledge of multiple SAP modules and the integration points between them. Candidate should have clear communication skill to interact with business SME and users to understand and analyze various processes.
What you will do:
Design the solution by gathering information from the client and prepares detailed requirement specifications (functional and non-functional), use cases, and business process recommendations.
In-depth knowledge and Hands-on expertise in Ariba P2P- Buying & Invoicing (B & I), Catalog, Ariba CIG Integration with S/4 Hana and Ariba Network
Experience in implementation for Ariba P2P and working with Suppliers, Business & Ariba Support to resolve issues and exposure of working on Enhancements and Ariba Rollout Projects
Experienced in writing detailed functional specifications, prepare test scenarios, write test scripts, and perform end-to-end testing.
Experience of working closely with SAP technical Team and Business teams in design and implementation of Ariba.
Good knowledge of SAP MM modules in SAP HANA and Good understanding of the SAP FI-MM Integration concepts.
Develop functional specifications for customized development and provide functional support for the development team.
Conduct system integration testing and assist business users in completing user acceptance testing where functionality validation is completed before recommending the release of changes to the production environment.
Collaborate with the business systems leaders to identify research and propose functionality improvement opportunities in the financial systems technology roadmap.
Enable solutions in Standard SAP Procure-To-Pay Fiori Apps
What you will need to have:
At least 6 years of experience with Information Technology with minimum one S/4 Hana implementation experience.
At least 4 years hands on experience with SAP ARIBA implementation is required.
Experience with Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Network, Ariba CIG integration and SAP MM / AP modules is required.
Specific knowledge of Purchasing, Goods Receipt, Invoice Receipt (with reference to PO). Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), Material Master and Accounts Payables.
Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical specifications to clients, implementation teams and functional teammates.
Ability to work in a changing environment; special projects will involve changing the existing process, technologies, and people within Billing Organization to drive standardization of best practices.
Proven experience transitioning Functional Requirement to Technical Requirements
Cross SAP module integration experiences involving SD and FI
Passionate about the Procure to Pay processes and operations.
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
