We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Introduction:
The Business Intelligence Lead reports to the Finance SAP MI Manager and is responsible for the Design/build and delivery of Analytical Applications based on SAP Data Warehouse technology (SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA). The Business Intelligence Lead focusses on identifying opportunities in delivering business value via leveraging existing as well as adoption of the new Business Intelligence technology based on SAP platforms.
What will you be doing?
• Experience in leading the development team on SAP BW/4HANA projects preferably using Agile methodology
• Experience in managing stakeholders (Business & Technology), preparing project plan/test plan/cutover plan for successful execution of the project.
• SAP BW4HANA Design/Development, testing, deployment of Analytical Applications in line with the Team development standards
• Participation in automation and Quality Assurance process in the team
• Handover of delivered applications to Support teams and addressing production system issues escalated by Support teams.
• Document & Review all developments and ensure these meet business requirements
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in leading the development team on SAP BW/4HANA projects preferably using Agile methodology
• Experience in managing stakeholders (Business & Technology), preparing project plan/test plan/cutover plan for successful execution of the project.
• Lead at least 2 End to End project implementations involving all phases i.e. Requirement gathering -> Design/Build -> SIT/UAT -> Deployment
• 10+ years of overall experience in BW data modelling with minimum 2 years of development experience in SAP BW/4HANA (BW on HANA 7.5)
• Hands-on experience working with SAP BW/4HANA, custom SAP BW Extractors, transformations, advanced DSOs, composite providers in BW.
• BW related ABAP knowledge and debugging skills are must.
• Skilled and experienced in interpreting functional requirements, capturing and documenting non-functional requirements and documenting technical requirements
Skills that will help you in the role :
• Experience in Front-end technologies such as SAP BO (Lumira Designer), SAC.
• Experience with integrating BW with various SAP and Non-SAP backend systems/sources of data.
• Understanding of working within an Agile methodology framework (Scrum). Experience in JIRA.
• Understanding of Banking/Finance domain
