Introduction:
End to End solutioning of SAP HR related changes through development to the production application. Responsibilities include:
Use the business process requirements to drive out application requirements and metrics
Assist in defining and reviewing requirements for the application
Validate the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements
Work alongside other designers and ABAP developers in completing designs
Inform the technical architect and Scrum Master/ project manager of any issues that may affect delivery or other areas of the project
Participate in quality management reviews ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements
What will you be doing?
Complete all appropriate documentation required by the developers, testers, deployment team, and application management team that will maintain the application.
For Integration developments produce technical specifications. Ensure all developments follow agreed standards and naming conventions
Technical Delivery of projects or small change (ITHRs) for SAP HR/Successfactors/Workday, encompassing:
Requirements gathering from the client
Production of functional specifications
Analysis of requirements and provision of technical advice where necessary
Engagement and sign off from Engineers should the design require it .
Gathering functional requirements and mapping to SAP HR functionality, performing gap analysis. Creating appropriate design documents. Contributing to all aspects of development lifecycle.
Development and Configuration of Integrations encompassing SAP ECC , Successfactors, Workday, Service Now, Client & 3rd Party systems as the expected Boundary systems involved in the integration process.
Unit & system testing of changes
Support for UAT
Provision of detailed transition documentation to the support team
Support of the deployment of changes
Adhering to standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) / Agile / Dev-Ops processes & documentation
Take responsibility for implementation of changes to ensure no live incidents associated with the change are raised.
Demonstrable experience of refining ambiguous business requirements and mapping them to SAP functionality.
What we're looking for:
• 8+ years of experience in ABAP, HR ABAP, WebDynpro, workflow, LDBs
Sound Knowledge in SAP HCM
SAP Data Dictionary,
ALV Reports,
BDC,
Performance Optimization
Smartformrs
Knowledge of SAP OData service will be an added advantage.
Functional knowledge in area PA, OM, TM
Should have minimum of 2 implementation experiences SAP HR area
Demonstrable track record of previous work on major SAP HR implementations.
• Should have Basic Knowledge on the Workday integration tools such as Studio, EIB Document Transformation, Core Connectors, PECI, Report Writer, APIs' & Web Services.
• Any experience in Workday to SAP Integrations will be an added advantage.
• Expertise in end-to-end interface development
• Working knowledge of ALE/Idoc and SAP System configurations to setup distribution model between partner systems.
• Working knowledge on LDBs.
• Vision on HR technology interfaces in next 10 years
• Use of Artificial Intelligence in HR Technology
• Automation and optimization of HR process to make work simple of Operations team
• Own proofs of concepts and experiments for future HR Technology
• create technical documentation in a clear way to achieve affective communication of the solutions and strategy.
• Suggesting new ways forward and coming up with new ideas for how to achieve our aims.
• Keep abreast of new HR technology trends and consider how they could apply to or influence our organization HR policies.
• Create HR technical solutions at all levels
• Resolve challenges in HR Technology products
• Work with various application teams to drive end to end interface development
• Design the SAP HR configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.
• Ability to transform customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levels
Skills that will help you in the role:
• SAP and Workday Certification.
• ITIL Certification.
• Experience in using Microsoft Share Point, Service Now and Business Objects
