Job Description
DEDIQ is a Munich-based, operative investor focusing on innovative and fast-growing companies. For our new FSI Unit (SAP Fioneer) emerging from a strategic partnership with SAP, we are looking for dynamic new colleagues to build up and develop our financial solutions for the next generation banking and insurance industry.
Our vision for the banking and insurance companies of the future are customer centric high touch lifestyle institutions with efficient data management, state of the art regulation, based in the cloud.
SAP Fioneer will use its agility to build a modern, cloud focused FSI specific portfolio. The company will offer solutions to financial service providers tailored to address their needs and that cover their operative processes end-to-end. This will help banks, insurers, and other corporations to lower the need for home-grown solutions to enable new business models, achieve rapid innovation, lower IT costs and switch to a simplified operating model.
Tasks
Ability to exhibit learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts and effectively applying the knowledge gained towards accomplishment of project goals.Willingness to take initiative, ability to exhibit learning agility by quickly upskilling on new tasks and concepts and effectively applying the knowledge gained towards the accomplishment of project goals.
You should have the skills listed below:
Candidates should have skills in the following areas, SAP BASIS, SAP installation, maintenance, operations experience for when we transition customers to run
Good consulting and communication skills to work with our clients and across our internal cloud teams. Mid-senior and senior candidates should have good consulting skills and be able to independently work and drive new build items and work with our customers and internal teams
Experience and mindset in technical security is preferred as is any experience in the FSI or a regulated industry
You will have the freedom to innovate, grow and drive new initiatives and projects in the organization. Cloud or technical
architecture skills are preferred but not essential depending on experience
Have a good product/domain knowledge including relevant business processes and scenarios and an understanding of customer needs
Seek to automate and continuously improve existing technical
processes
Automation skills are desired and you will also have the opportunity to automation build and operational processes
You will also build, enhance and support our internal environments that support product development and lifecycle
Write and review Design documents
Contribute to team planning
Act as a role model for junior colleagues
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, required.
Expert Knowledge in a range of technology including SAP on Cloud, Private Cloud, BASIS, PaaS cloud services such as BTP, be exposed to hyperscaler technologies
Experience in automation is a plus
Sound knowledge of SAP BASIS and technical architecture
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Evaluates architecture risks and contribute to effort estimation of backlog items
Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues
Knowledge and experience in open source, cloud native technologies, and security aspects is a plus
Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal
skills
Strong drive to get things done and willingness to get hands-on to support the team
Self-motivated, self-driven, curious, open-minded, resourceful and flexible with the ability to
learn quickly
WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in SAP and technology domain 3-7 yrs.
Consultants who will work with our FSI customers delivering our cloud projects, products and services
SAP BASIS experience
Experience in working with global teams with high levels of collaboration
Hyperscaler and cloud architecture knowledge or experience
SAP BTP experience is a plus.
Banking-related knowledge is a plus.
