Basis Expert Consulting Services Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time SAP BTP Consultant to join our BCS family and work on our client sites.
You will work onsite, representing the BCS brand with a range of customers, gaining invaluable experience quickly.
Job Title: SAP BTP Consultant
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Range: Base Salary 80,000 – 100,000 per year, plus superannuation

Roles and Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy Fiori/UI5 applications on SAP BTP using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and the CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model.
Customization & Extensibility: Customize standard SAP Fiori apps and build extensions using SAP BTP services such as Business Application Studio (BAS), BAS Dev Spaces, and Cloud Foundry environment.
Cloud Integration: Integrate applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Gateway, SAP HANA Cloud, and other SAP or non-SAP systems using OData, APIs, and SAP Integration Suite.
UI/UX Development: Apply SAP Fiori design guidelines to create modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces; collaborate with UX designers for pixel-perfect UI implementation.
Lifecycle Management: Deploy and manage applications using SAP BTP tools, handle version control, and participate in CI/CD pipelines as needed.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal application performance and reliability across cloud platforms.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and user manuals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, analysts, backend developers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end cloud-based solutions.
Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, and emerging SAP technologies to drive innovation and best practices within projects.
Skills Required/Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in SAP UI5/Fiori development, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP.
Strong proficiency in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and front-end technologies.
Expertise in SAP BTP tools such as Business Application Studio, Cloud Foundry, and SAP Launchpad service.
Experience with OData and CAP model development.
Strong knowledge of SAP Gateway, SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and OData services.
Familiarity with SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori Cloud.
Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, and OAuth2 authentication flows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
SAP Certification in Fiori/UI5 or BTP is a plus.
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
