In this vital role you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of SAP solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment. In this role, you will work with key SAP technologies, including ABAP and SAP Fiori/UI5, while assisting with cloud integration and maintaining SAP's clean core principles. You will collaborate with functional teams to deliver tailored solutions by developing ABAP programs, working with CDS views, and supporting OData services. This position requires familiarity with SAP development best practices, performance tuning, and a dedication to ensuring compliance with SAP standards. The role includes consistency to the "clean core" principle, using SAP Extensibility concepts to keep custom development separate from the SAP core. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, will be beneficial. You'll contribute to improving processes and ensuring smooth upgrades and system maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: Assist in the development and maintenance of ABAP programs, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements in SAP S/4HANA environments. Support the migration of custom code from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring compatibility and performance optimization. Work with OData services, CDS views, and AMDP to help develop scalable solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment. Follow the "clean core" approach by keeping custom code outside SAP's core system using SAP Extensibility options. Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and assist in improving SAP applications with modern ABAP techniques, ensuring user-friendly interfaces. Collaborate with functional teams to capture requirements and help implement SAP solutions aligned with business needs. Conduct code reviews and use SAP tools like SAP ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) to ensure code quality and optimization. Maintain user documentation for all developed SAP solutions, ensuring smooth handover for future maintenance. Stay updated with SAP technologies and standard methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of IT or related field experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of IT or related field experience OR Diploma and 7 to + years of IT or related field experience Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in ABAP Objects, CDS views, and OData services, with experience using ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse. Basic understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 application development, including crafting and improving user interfaces using OData services. Familiarity with SAP ATC and other quality tools for code inspection and performance optimization. Experience working within SAP S/4HANA environments, contributing to the design and implementation of custom solutions. Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in SAP development projects, promoting collaboration and iterative delivery of solutions. Knowledge of ABAP DevOps practices, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and performing automated testing. Familiarity with SAP Clean Code principles and experience writing maintainable, modular ABAP code. Basic experience with SAP Workflow and automation using ABAP.
