Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Finance Consultant – Cash & Banking Lead to drive the design, configuration, and implementation of cash management and banking processes as part of our ERP transformation. This role is responsible for leading treasury operations, bank integration, cash positioning, and reconciliation activities, ensuring smooth and compliant cash flows across the enterprise.
The Work:
Lead the design and deployment of Cash Management and Banking functionalities within the ERP system (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for cash application, bank statement processing, electronic bank interfaces, payments, reconciliations, and cash forecasting.
Define and implement bank connectivity (SWIFT, host-to-host, API-based) and payment file formats (ISO20022, MT940, etc.).
Collaborate with Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams to streamline cash-related processes.
Work with banks and IT teams to ensure successful end-to-end integration and testing of payment and bank statement files.
Configure automated bank reconciliation tools and support exception management processes.
Support data migration of bank accounts and historical cash transactions.
Lead functional testing, support UAT, and manage defect resolution for Cash & Banking modules.
Provide guidance on internal controls, compliance, and risk management related to banking operations.
Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions for treasury and finance staff.
Offer post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Soft Skills (Mandatory):
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
