Current Role : SAP Integration Architect
Job Location : Gurgaon
Experience Required : 10+ Years
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop, implement, test, deploy and provide O&M support for synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between SAP instances and external systems using the SAP PO/CPI platform. Enterprise Architect Role responsible for managing end to end delivery of solutions within the scope & budget working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, develop, implement, test, deploy and provide O&M support for synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between SAP instances and external systems using the SAP PI/PO platform.
• SME Face-off for external and internal stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents
• Develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and document interfaces using EDI, SAP Proxy, and
• IDOC technologies
• Conducting unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality
• Supporting end-users Acceptance Testing activities
• Status reporting of critical projects / BAU activities to key stakeholders
DECISIONS:
• Should be able to Architect, Design, Configure, Document, Manage, Support, and Operate on SAP PO/CPI
• Should be able to develop E2E solution using SAP PO/CPI
• Should be able to troubleshoot the performance issues in a SAP PO implementation
• Should be able to map the old PO Interfaces, implementation to new SAP CPI platform
• Should enable teams to monitor interfaces
RECOMMENDATIONS :
• Should be able provide a detailed roadmap on how to upgrade from SAP PO to SAP CPI
• Provide Solution Architecture guidance for identified projects
• Good knowledge of EDI integration for various SAP Standard messages
• Should have basic SAP functional knowledge of key processes
• Should have S4 HANA + SAP BTP knowledge
MAJOR CHALLENGES :
• Describe the major challenges faced in carrying out the above accountabilities.
• Enterprise Architecture and Stakeholder management
• Supporting multiple projects and Business as usual (Priorities will be well defined)
• SAP Functional knowledge
