As a Business SAP Process Architect, you apply your expertise in business and technical systems to the existing IT toolsets, automating manual efforts. In this role, you will expand your focus from a single system to a comprehensive understanding of how multiple business and technical processes interact. You will align the capabilities of current IT technology with business and technical needs, striving to create cross-functional and cross-platform solutions. You will guide departmental and divisional business/technical management on IT strategies and initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
You analyze business and technical needs and translate them into practice using current IT toolsets. Your project involvement will be multi-disciplinary and complex in scope.
You identify opportunities to enhance existing operations by replacing legacy systems and manual efforts with new IT technology solutions.
You implement new business and technical strategies by configuring systems and creating programming specifications, which may be executed by you or handed over to the IT development staff for further assistance.
You provide knowledge transfer on current technologies to stakeholders and junior-level staff, ensuring they are up-to-date on both business and technical practices.
You conduct full integration testing of new or modified business/technical processes and develop business solutions. You prepare technical cycle tests for stakeholder use and document all process changes, writing operational instructions and work requirements. This documentation will serve as training material for the business process consultants and the stakeholder community.
You provide detailed analyses and supporting documentation to help management develop effective work plans and project schedules, tracking progress and monitoring results. You adjust priorities to ensure that objectives are accomplished on time and within budget.
Job Qualifications:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience (12 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree).
You bring at least 10+ years of experience in IT, including 6+ years of SAP OTC experience.
You have a strong ability to perform configurations and/or development for SAP-related applications.
You possess solid cross-functional solution design capabilities that span multiple functions and applications.
You have the ability to explore and implement new processes and technologies.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills and a good command of spoken and written English.
You are flexible and able to work additional hours as required for special occasions.
